NBA All Star Weekend 2106 | Toronto

On Saturday, February 13, Andrew Wiggins welcomed hundreds of kids from the star’s hometown City of Vaughan for a special basketball experience that unveiled a new look and multi-year investment at Dufferin Clark Community Centre. Andrew greeted fans, thanked them for their support and unveiled updated facilities that feature new hoops and a scoreboard, refurbished benches and equipment, a remodeled youth room and plenty of adidas gear. The event also featured on-court competitions including free-throw, three-point and slam dunk contests. The special give back tipped-off a unique, multi-year partnership with Andrew and the Dufferin Clark Community Centre where adidas will supply footwear, uniforms and equipment for youth basketball leagues and a lasting impression for years to come.

On Friday, February 12, adidas gave basketball players from Bill Crothers Secondary School an all-access pass to the adidas VIP Suite for an intimate experience with James Harden where he joined the players for a photo shoot, one-on-one conversation and an exclusive revealing of unreleased kicks.

LVL3 Las Vegas 2017

We took over Las Vegas with their LVL3 event, the ultimate playground for the basketball fan. This year’s LVL3 event gave basketball players and fans the opportunity to lace up the new adidas Crazy Explosive 17. Fans and players that came to the event were also able to create their own on-court looks at the MakerLab, dunk on a hoop with a 360-dunk cam and improve their game through sessions with top skills trainers.  Adidas brought their NBA players including James Harden, Andrew Wiggins, Kelly Oubre Jr just to name a few.

Adidas 747 – All Star Weekend Launch

747 Warehouse St. was a two-day event that included exclusive best-in-class product drops (adidas Basketball, adidas Originals, adidas Running); a speaker panel of adidas athletes and ambassadors; a celebrity basketball game of all-star rappers coached by Snoop and 2 Chainz; an unforgettable concert line-up with performances by 21 Savage, Playboi Carti, Pusha T, NERD and more; an interactive Brooklyn Creator Farm Pop Up for fans to create and customize adidas products; a sound lab where a select group of fans will be creating music and mentored by some of the most influential names in the industry; adidas athlete appearances and much more.

Imma Be A Star – Audubon Middle School Giveback

We went back to James Harden’s middle school and hosted a block party for the school. We renovated the outdoor courts and indoor courts as well as had a live concert. Rick Ross and Rich The Kid were the headliners for the concert. We hosted about 1000 people.

High School Content Shoot 2017

We partnered with our VIP high schools to do a school photoshoot. Kids posted on social and used suggested hashtags to grow brand affinity with their following as well as push Adidas basketball marketing efforts organically. We encouraged kids to hashtag #adidasuprising when sharing on social and saw major impressions in the tens of millions, most notably: Lamelo Ball, Zion Williamson, Gary Trent Jr., Gelo Ball.
